At times in life we meet someone,
someone we think is our soul mate,
our other half,
someone who completes us.
Sometimes that person isn't the one we think they are.
However, moving on can be hard
hard to let go
to move on
and to be happy with yourself still at the end of the day
We deal with it in different ways
sometimes we just need that person there
other times, we just need them to not exist in our lives for some time
sometimes we hold the past over their heads...
but for today,
just let them go
set them free
forgive
move on
and
you'll be a happier person
I promise, You'll wake up one day
and the weight of them on your shoulders,
will just alight
you'll feel as light as a balloon
as free as a bird
and you can look at them again
and see them for the person they are
the person who gave to you what they gave to you
and move on from what they took from you
it's a giving and taking process
sometimes love hurts
but, I promise one day
when you least expect it
you'll find that new love.

even when their not there
the new love, who makes you laugh
even when your miles apart
